TIME IS SHORT!

​This is not a doom's day article. Just a simple statement of fact. The fact - time is short: whether it be the length of a day and the things we feel we need to accomplish or just that an hour seems to past faster! But, yes, in relation to the point from when time began upon this Earth and when it will end - time is short. Let's think about this a minute. Even a minute seems to pass more quickly - especially the more we mature!

I hope that I have learned to use time more wisely than I have in my past. A friend of mine says that an hour lost is an hour we can never get back ... we can't really make it up - because it is gone forever. And forever - well that's another subject ... but still, it, too, is important.

What would I have done about time if I had been more aware of the importance of it? Would I have been more constructive and utilized it to my best advantage? The answer? I'll never really know, but I can work from this time forward to make a difference in what I do.

Here it is again, time to make a choice - I can make a CHOICE decision or I can simply make a choice. To make a "choice" decision is to make a decision which is more superior in excellence or value - like "prime beef', "fine wines" or "prize flowers". However, to make a choice is to just select or pick an option*. Which do I choose? But wait, don't I make this decision each minute of each day? Yes, every time - that's EVERY time. What do these choices say about me? Do I think about what I choose or do I "just let it happen"?

Honestly - I, and most of the rest of us, choose to "just let it happen". What am I doing to myself? What is everyone else doing to themselves? We are letting someone else or something else make this decision. Oops! What a mistake - what a terrible mistake! It could be an eternal mistake. Eternal?! There I go again, and eternal refers to forever. And yes, the "eternal", or "forever", is drawing closer than most people know. So how can I utilize this fact to my best advantage?

Let me think. The only one I know who really cares about me, really, is God. But who or what is my god? The choices I make give the answer. Either I do believe, or I don't believe, in a Heavenly Father - Creator - Almighty God - the One who sent His Son Jesus to save me. To believe in nothing is to believe in Lucifer ... for he is nothing compared to Jesus. Oh, yes, Lucifer will do everything he can to make me think no one cares for me, but that's to get me on his side and not care about anything - that is, anything but myself. Yes, anything that revolves around "me" or "myself' is not about caring what happens - really happens - to me.

Getting so worked up about and in "self " causes us to do the wrong things or make the wrong decisions concerning our actions. We have all said at one time or another that "I am my own worst enemy". This comes from the fact that Lucifer (satan) is working to keep us so involved in "self" that we make only choices Satan wants us to make. The bad part of this is that we are all clueless that all of this is even going on in our lives. These "me" choices drive us farther and farther away from hearing God's voice. We get so confused and wrapped up in our own problems that we cannot see any farther than "self ". This is the place Satan really likes to keep each of us ... so into "self", having things our way, having everyone agree that "we" have been so wronged, that our life goes from one pity party to another. That's what Satan wants ... for he can (and does) use each one of us to be our own worst enemy.

Emotions

We seem to get so far away from God's voice... we'll never be able to hear Him... We get so emotional that we become "emotional-decision makers" and yet we are in an emotional whirlwind of destruction. Emotional? Destruction? Yes, emotions are one of the greatest tools Satan uses against our lives. Emotions cannot be trusted!

Ever notice sometimes when you have been emotional, no matter how you felt, there seemed to be "something" (or some one) that kept telling you something different than what your emotions were YELLING? There was something still and quiet about what you perceived, which was just the opposite of your "feelings". Could it be that your Creator was trying to rescue you from "yourself "?: trying to say - "stop for a moment - really look at this situation - see what your emotions are doing to YOU "!

When this happens, stop - take a few deep breaths and say a prayer in Jesus' Name, command the confusion to be gone - the emotions controlling you - to stop - and ask God to help you see what His desire for you is in this particular situation. Be patient - be persistent - and seek His will. And don't let "things"or other people push you into a wrong action or decision. Take time with God and you - time for you to know now His best for you.

Begin

Start the day with God. I've got a friend who gets up in the mornings and says "Good morning, Father. Good morning, Jesus. Good morning, Holy Spirit." It helps this person to be with God. My friend also closes the day in prayer. Seek Him in prayer and praise. Praise has a wonderful way of freeing us up front the "weeds" we sometimes cultivate in our lives. Praise can even reveal the "weeds 'to us so that we, by His grace, can pull them out of our way and out of His way! This requires changes in our daily routines but nothing that is not possible - with Jesus on our side.


GOD IS ON YOUR SIDE! BELIEVE IT! He loves you with "FOREVER LOVE". Seek Him throughout the whole day. It is not always easy. There will be obstacles to overcome. Some days will be better than others. BUT, with God - with His guidance - you can learn to make CHOICE decisions - forever decisions. It is a life relatiotzship worth working for, one which will change your life ... forever! It will connect that part of God in you to Himself-your Creator-and the pieces of the puzzle of LIFE will create a beautiful picture that only the Master Painter can paint. You don't have to wait for the "forever"! Begin NOW! For you were created from His love and He wants to shower you with His Love. You are only a breath away from Him. Just ask Jesus to take away all your sins, and accept Him as your Lord and Savior. Ask Him to change your mind, your thinking, your actions to His Mind, His Thinking and His Actions. He's been waiting for you... "forever". Begin now! RIGHT NOW!

Bottom Line

You can choose to continue on the path of "self' destruction, which Lucifer wishes ... or you can make the CHOICE decision for God. You can learn to "hear" His Voice. If you sincerely want to hear His Voice, you will! Read His Word, the Bible, and spend time with Him developing your "relationship" with your Creator ... The bottom line?

God's Chosen People

All humanity has wandered away from the Creator and has been in the "wilderness of self 'so long - too long.

To make a "forever" decision and to know how much He loves us is such a wonderful assurance. God wants all of Israel to know and trust Him ... the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, just as their forefathers knew Him in their time. Re-read Exodus and see what He did for His Chosen People! He'll do even more now! Pray for Truth to be placed within His Chosen People. Pray this even as you'd pray it for yourself. Yahweh is the answer to ALL the problems in today's world!

Pray for His People, pray for Israel, pray for Jerusalem, pray for His Truth to be made known in all the earth: I-Es purposes to be made known and accomplished! We who owe the Jewish people so much, can do nothing less than to be intercessors on their behalf!

Look At Current Events

You can believe me or not. But truth is TRUTH. Time is too short to choose to make the wrong decision. Just look at the weather around the world. There are either droughts and fires, or too much rain and floods, or locusts and other insects eating up crops, or earthquakes, or volcanos erupting which were supposed to be dormant, or one country trying to take over another country and threats of the use of nuclear weapons on all fronts. There is ADDS and other diseases, like the new "body-eating" bacteria, which are running wild with no medical help in sight. God said we could tell the time of the end because of what would be happening! Yes, time is running short.

The Process Of Choosing

God is Real and He really cares for you! You can chose to be Ms and make CHOICE decisions or not. Even when not making a decision you are making a choice ... and a choice "not to decide" IS a choice! Not making a decision to "choose God" will leave you lost ... forever. There is that word again, "forever". And forever is for ever!

If you choose to live for God, and you accept Jesus as your Savior, then you are His and your are safe. BUT if you choose to live as if there is no "life forever", you will find that there is a Hell and it will be ... forever..." And Lucifer would have you choose his way... lost ... forever. He tries to keep us wrapped up in not making decisions each minute of each hour of each day. It's more and more a step in satan's taking our life from us: a life that God gave, a life in which He planted deep inside each person a part of Himself. It is this part of God that His Spirit continues to tug at to cause us to seek our Creator ... our Father. Why would we have this nagging within us --if it were not reality --- the reality that He does exist and that He does care for us. He loves us so much - so much that He keeps on trying to draw us to Jesus and His Gift of Salvation - so we can live with Him forever. So...what is your choice about forever?

Choice

The choice is yours and yours alone. Your choice could make the difference not only in your life but in the life of someone you hold very dear. You'll never know whose life you will be blessed to touch with the Life of Jesus Alive within you. Your choice decision is like a rain drop falling upon the ocean - its ripples affect the whole body of water and it ultimately is a wave upon the shore. Just think about how big that is!

Time is short and it is shorter now than when you began reading this. Time to choose - this day - whom you will serve. Let the journey begin... Choose the One for "forever " - choose Jesus, chose Life, choose...
