EVERYTHING WAS DONE
The goodness and the mercy of Almighty G-d is an absolute that His creation can only touch in a very limited way. G-d’s Holy Word is full of experiences that happened to real people many years ago in their relationship with their Creator. People today also have the opportunity to have an intimate relationship with the Creator G-d; the G-d of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. It is far beyond my comprehension how G-d does so many of the things that He does, but one thing I know for a fact...G-d Is! G-d has been very explicit about His Presence in the Universe and mankind can turn their backs, choose not to believe, and hate everything that they think G-d is or has done or not done, and it changes nothing. The miracle is that G-d, in is infinite goodness, chooses to use our ignorance and lack of knowledge about Him to bring us to Him. G-d has a definite plan in motion for His creation and it has not stopped since the very first day when in His heart and out of His mouth came the words: "Let there be...."Gen. 1:3 In every living organism G-d can be found. G-d is always creating Himself!
Everything was done by G-d to cause human kind to respond to Him in a way of honesty, humility, justice, reverence, always remembering that only One (G-d) is good. Matt. 19:17
Thousands of years ago G-d choose to make Himself known to a man who lived in the modern country of Iraq. His name was Abram. The full story of G-d’s dealing with this man can be found in Gen.12:1- chapter 25:9 Through the response of this one man to the One True Living G-d, the Hebrew people were born. They did not exist before G-d created them out of the loins of this man Abram. The originating of G-d's covenant with this man is found in Gen. 15: 1-21. G-d tells us in His word that He laid down the conditions to it, then cut it or made it perfect by His Holy presence in Abram's presence while Abram slept. Verse 18 shows us that, this covenant G-d made with Abram was for Abram's descendants to posses the land G-d had already given to Abram in verse 7. Gen. 17:1-7 tells us that G-d established His covenant with Abram as an everlasting covenant between Himself and Abram. G-d changed Abram’’s name to Abraham and told him that he would be the father of many nations. The sign of this covenant was the circumcision of all male descendants of Abraham. Abraham had a son through a servant girl his wife had given him. This child, Ishmael would become the father of 12 princes. But, G-d made His everlasting covenant with Abram to be passed down through the son, Isaac, that his wife Sarah would bear him. This was the new beginning that G-d had planned for. These were His people. Descendants of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.
These were the ones whom He had called to be different. Not like any other people. The Lord
G-od Almighty was their ruler and they were G-d’s own possession and G-d saved them during the famine through Joseph, one of Jacob's son's, brought them out of Egypt to the land He had given to Abram. Through them G-d worked many a great miracle, gave the Ten Commandments to Moses, called David to rule over them after Saul rebelled against G-d, gave them the Ark of the Covenant, told them how to build the Temple in Jerusalem where G-d Himself had chosen to put His own name. This is beyond human comprehension. G-d told the Hebrew people that He would inhabit the Temple that He had Solomon build in Jerusalem and that He had chosen Jerusalem as His Holy city and that He would put His name there. 1 Kings 11:36
Reading the account in 1 Kings 8: 10, 11 you see that G-d's presence so filled the Temple that the priest could not minister there. Truly, the G-d of Israel had chosen His city, caused His temple to be built in Jerusalem and inhabited it. G-d's promises to His chosen people while in the desert with Moses had been fulfilled. Deut. 12:5.
More time passed and G-d's relationship with His people became more and more strained until they had broken every commandment He ever gave them and all of the warnings from Him began to come about because of their rebellion against Him. They had turned their back on Him and chosen to worship other gods. Exile in Babylon and many other things happen. G-d was constantly calling to them to repent, return to Him whole heartedly and He would once again be their G-d. G-d's own possession refused to hear over all, but through the centuries, G-d has always had a people. A remnant that looked for Him and trusted Him and cried out to Him to help them. And help them He did. G-d sent through the tribe of Judah, a Son. A beloved, only begotten Son who was conceived through the power of the Only Living G-d who created everything and this Son grew and became a man and learned obedience through suffering and at the young age of 30 showed all of the people of G-d everything that His Father instructed Him to show them and tell them and teach them. At last the time came for the ultimate sacrifice and Yeshua went to the cross for the sin of mankind. For all the Hebrew people and for all the Gentiles or non-Hebrew people of the earth. In Isaiah 49:6 we find G-d telling His Son ahead of the time of His coming to earth, that it is not enough that He should be given as a fulfillment to the Covenant that G-d had made with His Hebrew people, the Father also wanted His Son's sacrifice to be a Light unto the nations that all of mankind may come back to the Father who had created them.
When I read the headlines from Israel today my heart goes from breaking to rejoicing. The Gentiles are trampling on the Temple Mount and all over Jerusalem. Barak is making plans to give away 90% of the Jordan and the rest of Gaza and the West Bank and possibly even the town of Hebron. Hebron is the town where Abram, (Abraham) buried his wife Sarah and where many of the oldest of G-d's chosen people are buried. Right outside of Bethlehem is the burial site of Rachel and Mary and Martha and Lazarus’’ house is just over the top of the hill from Jerusalem.
Where is all of this leading and where is G-d in all of it?
HaShem, the G-d of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob is right where He has always been. In the center of everything. There are many people who have found new life through the death and resurrection of Yeshua throughout all the nations and also many within the chosen people of
G-d. His plan is right on schedule and through it the remnant of G-d’s people will find Him and His beloved Son, Yeshua and they will come to know that Yeshua truly is the Messiah that G-d sent so many years ago. The redemption and restoration of Israel is ever before the G-d of Israel. His promises to His Chosen People are as true today as they were when He brought them out of Egypt. The organized church has not and never will replace the Hebrew people in
G-d’s heart or His plan. The true disciples of Yeshua have learned and are learning that they have been called out of the world by G-d "for His name". Acts 15:7-18
Many weeks ago while having some praise time with the Lord I played a CD titled All Things Are Possible from the Hillsongs of Australia put out by Integrity Music. The last song on this CD is called: So You Would Come. As I sang along with this song, which calls people back to G-d, I began to listen with intensity. I began to know that I was playing this song for G-d's Chosen People, Israel. As I played this song over and over and listened to the words, Yeshua truly opened up my eyes, heart, ears, soul and I heard it for the first time with His Heart. The words are:
Before the world began
You were on His mind
And every tear you cry
Is precious in His eyes
Because of His great love
He gave His only Son
(And) everything was done
So you would come.
Nothing you can do
Could make Him love you more
And nothing that you've done
Could make Him close the door
Because of His great love
He gave His only Son
Everything was done
So you would come
chorus:
Come to the Father
Though your gift is small
Broken hearts, broken lives
He will take them all
The power of the Word
The power of His Blood
Everything was done
So you would come.
As I played this song over and over, G-d reached down deep inside of me and caused me to know and understand that everything that has been done––has been done so that Israel will come to Him. G-d wants every man and woman and child of every nation and tribe and tongue to come to Him, but G-d did everything so that when His Chosen People rebelled and turned away from Him, His plan was in motion to bring them to the day of recognition. A day when they will see their great need for Him and return to Him whole heartedly.
The Lord of all heaven and earth gave a word this week to me and I want to place it here for all to see, hear, and ponder. "Thus says the Lord G-d of Israel, the land is Mine. No other shall have it." G-d is truly calling His Own chosen people home to His heart and to the land that He gave them. Abram was a sojourner with G-d in the land that G-d showed him, and covenanted to give him and his seed after him. Even with all of the things that are happening in Israel today and all the uncertainty of tomorrow, the fact still remands that the land belongs to G-d and the people He has given it to. His chosen people, the Hebrews and He wants His people to be there. That is the land that He has given them and where He has said that He would put His name. The covenanted future of Israel is in the hand of G-d and will be fulfilled as He has planed it.
On January 31, 1996, Jesus showed the following: No one's eyes, ears, hearts are any longer blinded by G-d. The veil has been lifted for Jew and Gentile alike. Just as it was during Jesus' earthly ministry. Cutting edge of the end of "the times of the Gentiles" push and the second part...all of G-d's energies to bring Israel back into Himself. Amos 9:11,12"In that day I will raise up the fallen booth of David, and wall up its breaches; I will also raise up its ruins, And rebuild it as in the days of old; That they may posses the remnant of Edom And all the nations who are called by my name." Declares the Lord who does this. ( This is the scripture that is quoted in Acts 15: 16-18 spoken of before). 'Pray children, pray. The time is so very near. I need your hearts, spirits, voices, choices for MY PURPOSE. Thus says the Lord G-d Almighty––Yahweh!
There are many Hebrew people who live in Israel and around the world that recognize that the time of the Restoration of Israel to their G-d is close at hand. They know deep within their hearts that the Redemption is coming and G-d needs and desires for all of His children to pray for and with His Own Possession, the Hebrew people, that their hearts will be open only to Him and His plan for each of them. May the blessings of HaShem be with all of G-d's people over the earth and may the Messiah come in G-d's perfect time. Amen
